As of now, say health experts, there is no cure for Human papilloma virus (HPV). As many as 20 million citizens of the United States of America are known to be suffering from the disease. But the heartening part is that the disease is not fatal exactly and the virus is often known to disappear on its own over a period of time, at times without even giving any pain or problem to the person infected. It is however, a cause of concern since in some cases it leads to warts in the genital area that may not painful but cause anxiety and remain unwanted as they are.
Since the symptoms of HPV are not overtly manifest as symptoms, they are generally ignored and go largely undetected.
Some medical entrepreneurs have come up with medications such as the homoeopathic Dermisil, which claims to “eliminate strains of warts, including common warts, plantar warts, genital warts including (venereal, vaginal, perianal, anal warts), flat warts, verruca, molluscum, and skin tags without pain, scarring or harsh treatments through traditional methods with the use of exclusive plant extracts. The manufacturers claim that topical application of these extracts absorb into the skin and blood stream as soon as applied to the skin and say that this is the “most effective and gentle” method for all types of wart removal on vagina, penis or anus.
