  2. Although ice doesn’t sound great to someone looking for cures for toothache, it can be. The application of ice outside of the mouth can help deaden the pain and reduce the swelling of infected areas.
  3. Rinsing with salt water is another way to help relieve pain and reduce swelling. This is a natural way to clean the affected area, eliminate germs and bacteria, and get rid of your pain until you can get to the dentist.
